Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves performing CT scans and ensuring high-quality imaging for our patients.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (17:45 - 06:15)
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility has the ability to call off once every two-week pay period.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Weekend work may be required, with potential for exceeding every other weekend to meet unit needs.
• Certifications Required:



• BLS
• ARRT
• ARRT Advanced
• CA CRT
• CT
• Call Requirements: No on-call duties required.
• Floating Requirements: No floating between units required.

Work Environment

This opportunity is located within an acute care hospital that accommodates a range of patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department is known for its high volume of patients, particularly in the emergency department, and is recognized as a primary stroke receiving center.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various regions with and without contrast.
• Assist in special procedures, including biopsies and drainage procedures when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the charting system.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating Toshiba and GE CT scanners.
• Experience with PACS and Epic charting systems.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use.

Additional Information

• Parking facilities are available at no cost.
• Self-scheduling opportunities based on seniority.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission; flexibility is required regarding scheduling.
