Position Summary WSA NYC is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the financial operations across our portfolio of hospitality and multi-unit properties. Reporting directly to the Controller and working closely with the Finance Leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, supporting month‑end close processes, managing reconciliations, overseeing operational accounting functions, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality and/or food & beverage accounting experience, deep familiarity with multi-unit operations, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on within a fast-moving environment. This role requires a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, leadership, and external vendors. Compensation Salary Range: $110,000 – $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules Support month‑end and year‑end close processes across multiple entities and locations Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management Monitor and reconcile revenue reporting from POS systems and operational platforms Support accounting operations across multiple hospitality, food & beverage, wellness, and creative properties Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and KPI reporting Assist with sales tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, restaurant, hotel environments, or Strong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting practices Experience supporting multi‑entity or multi‑location operations preferred Experience with hospitality POS systems, accounting platforms, and payroll systems preferred CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, operationally minded, highly collaborative, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
