Accounts Payable Specialist

About Us Nova Medical Services is a growing healthcare organization with multiple specialties, including Wound Care, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team and help with day-to-day financial operations. Who We're Looking For We want someone with some experience in accounts payable or general accounting (not necessarily senior-level), who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn. Experience with QuickBooks is required, and familiarity with automation tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or Divvy is a plus. Key Responsibilities Process and review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports Enter and code invoices in QuickBooks Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card transactions Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies Keep accurate records of all payments Communicate with vendors and internal departments about invoices or payments Help improve processes and use QuickBooks automation features Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (healthcare experience is a plus) Proficient in QuickBooks Comfortable with basic process automation Benefits Paid time off and holidays Health, dental, vision insurance, and 401K Career growth opportunities in a growing company If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in accounting, we’d love to hear from you!
