Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, integrating their personal histories, presenting issues, and any relevant risk factors to form a holistic understanding of their mental health needs.

• Administer various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care strategies.

• Work hand-in-hand with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans tailored for each student.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, employing de-escalation techniques during mental health emergencies and referring students to appropriate higher-level care whenever necessary.

• Engage in psychoeducation efforts with students and their families to demystify mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources for effective advocacy.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational standards in all documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
