Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead technical project delivery for cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives within a financial services technology environment. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication across technical and business audiences, and a proactive, organized approach to managing cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY.
Project Manager's Responsibilities and Duties:- Define technical project scope, objectives, architecture dependencies, and deliverables
- Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress against sprints and releases
- Coordinate with vendors, cloud/infrastructure teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to meet timelines
- Track and manage cloud migration or platform delivery workstreams, including Azure resource provisioning and cutover planning
- Document test results, including UAT, and communicate issues to the development team
- Lead technical projects from initiation through delivery, including risk and dependency tracking across dev, QA, and infrastructure teams
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a Project Manager or Technical Business Analyst role
- 5+ years working in financial services, ideally investment banking or capital markets
- Hands-on experience managing projects on Microsoft Azure, including resource groups, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree required
