Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role in Home Care

LifeMotion Physical Therapy and Balance Center is searching for an enthusiastic and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Oakton, Virginia. This full-time role is primarily focused on home care settings, allowing patients to receive therapy in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Work Environment

This role will be conducted onsite with a focus on home care, where you will travel to various patient residences. This dynamic work environment allows for close interaction with patients as you deliver care directly in their homes, creating a personalized and comfortable atmosphere for therapy sessions. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with occupational therapists and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify each patient's specific physical needs and limitations, utilizing various testing methods and tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, ensuring that each plan is targeted towards optimal recovery and functionality.
• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities—including manual therapy, strength training exercises, balance training techniques, and pain management strategies—to assist in the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis and treatment options, guiding them through exercises and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Team up with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of the patient's well-being.
• Document patient progress comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR) systems, maintaining compliance with patient privacy regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals managing chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Your role will emphasize individualized care tailored to each patient's specific condition, lifestyle, and recovery goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current and valid Virginia state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic care, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a genuine passion for helping others and delivering high-quality patient care.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health or outpatient orthopedic settings is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
