Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting high school students in a specialized learning environment designed for adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This opportunity is located in Ludlow, MA, for the 2026-2027 school year. As the supervising SLP, you’ll work within the Compass High Program at Ludlow High School, a setting focused on cultivating independence and personal growth with an individualized approach.

Your responsibilities will include supervising an SLPA, collaborating on personalized interventions, and making a meaningful impact as part of a close-knit staff dedicated to supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active and valid SLP state licensure or ability to meet all state-required credentials
• SLP-CCC certification preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting, ideally working with high school students or specialized populations
• Strong background working with AAC devices and various modes of communication
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise support staff
• Passion for supporting students with ASD and learning differences in non-traditional environments

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for high school students
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individualized student needs
• Supervise and mentor an SLPA responsible for supporting student communication needs
• Integrate AAC systems and adaptive communication technology into daily activities
• Participate in team meetings, family consultations, and training initiatives
• Maintain thorough documentation and foster open communication with all stakeholders
