Step into a dynamic, supportive environment dedicated to empowering high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and unique learning needs. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, based in a specialized education program focused on building skills for independence outside the traditional classroom setting.

You'll work closely with the Compass High Program, providing expert speech-language services while supervising an SLPA. The schedule offers 32.5 hours each week, following an academic calendar (approximately August 27, 2026 – June 22, 2027), with your primary assignment located in Ludlow, MA.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and completion of SLP-CCC.
• Experience in school-based SLP roles—particularly at the high school level.
• Demonstrated expertise working with students with ASD and diverse learning profiles.
• Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential.
• Previous supervisory experience with an SLPA is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students in a specialized program.
• Guide and mentor an SLPA to ensure high-quality support for each student.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to personalize educational and communication goals.
• Implement and monitor the use of AAC devices, providing training to students and staff as needed.
• Contribute to comprehensive plans to help students develop practical communication skills for life beyond school.
