About the Position

The role requires monitoring and interpreting telemetry. RNs are responsible for managing various medical equipment. Effective time management is essential for success in this position. The unit serves a diverse patient population, excluding ICU-level patients. Staff will be expected to handle the frequent admission and discharge of patients. Ratios are typically 1 RN to 4-5 patients. Relief charge duties may be required as needed. Flexibility is required to float to different areas within the facility. The position requires the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands. Experience in a Level I Trauma facility is preferred. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs. This role may involve working with cardiac drips without titration. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
