Affiliate Marketing Manager (Fluent in Portuguese)

Location The Strategic Partner Growth Manager (Brazil) is a remote, work-from-home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Candidates need to reside in the US or Mexico. Some travel is required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, etc. Candidates must hold a valid passport, be able to travel internationally and speak fluent Portuguese. We will also accept candidates fluent in Spanish. The Role Acceleration Partners is accepting applications for an exciting new role that will sit in our Strategic Partner Growth department. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Manager with business development/account management experience, to support the growth of this exciting new department and have a key focus in the Brazil/LATAM affiliate space. This person will be required to join client calls to pitch high-value opportunities, provide strategic insights, progress toward goals, and proactively manage the top 10 partners for their respective clients. Thinking with a how-not-if mentality, maintaining an action-oriented approach, and effective questioning will be critical in this role. Responsibilities Contribute to the growth of clients through creation of high potential relationships and optimization of publishers. Follow client-approved processes for paid placements and partner optimizations. Act as a subject matter expert in client verticals and partner relationships, serving as a knowledgeable resource across partners and managed client verticals. Proactively lead conversations to share insights and expertise, adding value to accounts and the broader department. Identify and recruit high-quality partners with strong revenue potential based on client needs. Regularly utilize available tools such as APVision and SimilarWeb. Communicate with top publishers in program (when paid placements and optimization). Clearly, inform and engage, ask relevant questions during publisher interactions to vet opportunities effectively. Proactively identify and execute areas of opportunity and optimization across the program to drive revenue growth. Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with key partners, acting as a true extension of the client's business. Identify and act on opportunities that drive client growth while maintaining a healthy return on investment. Demonstrate exceptional calendar and time management skills. Participate in engagement kickoff calls with clients and ongoing calls, ask appropriate questions, and understand client goals and KPIs. Create, own, and execute partner strategies, including recruitment and paid placement initiatives, negotiation of terms, campaign set‑up, commission changes, and communication with partners. Adapt to change and pivot strategies to reach client goals, set expectations, and project new goals when needed. Educate and align clients, clearly articulating the rationale behind each opportunity and expected value. Diligently challenge the status quo, propose innovative opportunities, and secure approval grounded in data and client metrics. Show deep knowledge of publisher verticals and apply that expertise to address client questions and identify opportunities. Persistently pursue objections, propose alternatives, and overcome obstacles. Ideal Candidate Qualities Aptitude for identifying digital strategies based on publisher business models, specifically in the Brazilian/Wider LATAM market. Network of affiliate marketing relationships in LATAM. Ability to quickly develop new relationships that recruit brand‑to‑brand and unique partners. Self‑starter with strong internal motivation to hit targets. Experience working with enterprise brands, understanding their business and media challenges. Proven knowledge of performance and acquisition marketing. Demonstrated history of managing partnerships that require moving complex decisions through organizations. Track record of commercial sales success and ability to win support of senior stakeholders. Data‑driven decision maker with strong analytical thinking. Excellent communication skills to command a senior‑stakeholder audience and bring partners and colleagues along. High attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify insights to drive business performance. Proactive and collaborative attitude. Growth mindset and passion to drive client’s business forward. Ability to collaborate with team members remotely across various time zones. Minimum Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of digital Brazilian market; Portuguese language fluency preferred, Spanish will be considered. 4+ years of business development or relevant work experience (including account management, contract negotiations, marketing). Experience in sales or account management role with enterprise clients. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals. Experience in business development and performance marketing (particularly affiliate marketing). Effective communication and negotiation skills with ability to push back without damaging relationships. Detail-oriented and persuasive. Proven record of success in goal‑oriented, highly accountable, fast‑paced environment. Comfortable leading client‑facing presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a natural communicator and influencer. Work‑from‑home and corporate office experience is a plus. Benefits 100% remote work for everyone.
