Multiple positions are available for dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to serve at SSN Centers across junior/senior high schools, high schools, and two elementary schools (maternity leave coverage through 12/20). These roles each offer a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in dynamic educational environments near Englewood, CO.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Holds or is eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within school settings
- Experience with specialty student needs (SSN) populations is preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy programs
- Enthusiastic about empowering students to reach their communication potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary to high school-aged students
- Deliver therapy services individually and in groups aligned with IEP goals and federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize communication outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and therapy plans
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional insights and tracking progress
- Offer support and strategies to staff and caregivers for student success
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse abilities and needs
