Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathologist by supporting students with significant support needs at various school levels near Golden, CO. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday) in junior/senior high, high school, and elementary environments. The elementary school role is a maternity leave position, expected to continue through December 20. Immediate openings are available with assignments extending through late May 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field required
- Valid SLP licensure in Colorado (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based services, including development and implementation of IEPs
- Comfortable supporting students with significant support needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to promote student growth
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
- Utilize varied strategies to engage and support learners at diverse developmental levels
- Support students at the junior/senior, high school, or elementary level based on specific assignment
