Job Summary

We are currently seeking Account Managers to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

Positions are available in our Denver, CO office or remotely for candidates located in the Bethlehem, PA area.

For candidates based in Denver, this position is fully onsite (five days per week) during the initial onboarding period with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule (three days per week in the office). The Bethlehem, PA area position will be fully remote .

The Account Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements for a set number of the Company's clients. The Account Manager will oversee the client service for their clients and be the single point of contact for client questions and requests. This position will contribute to a high performing, collaborative team culture and model of Grassi's values and behaviors. The Account Manager reports directly to the Accounting Team Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Reviewing all income statements monthly and preparing monthly client checklist and sending to all clients to ensure they have accurate monthly data
• Reviewing general ledger accounts monthly and making monthly accruals and adjustments
• Serving as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Utilizing accounting systems to support client accounting and reporting needs, with experience in Restaurant365 (R365), Xero, and/or Sage Intacct
• Supporting internal and offshore accounting teams through training, coaching, direction, and review of completed work
• Supporting accurate chart of accounts mapping
• Identifying data quality issues and errors, investigating data discrepancies and escalating
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities that expand and improve practices and services
• Performing other accounting activities as required
• Demonstrating firm core values consistently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years or more of full-cycle bookkeeping and related experience
• Experience with Restaurant365 (R365), Xero, and/or Sage Intacct is required
• Experience with restaurant, franchise, or multi-unit clients is required
• Demonstrated experience leading, training, coaching, or overseeing accounting staff, including offshore teams
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, balance sheet, income statement, accruals, adjustments, and financial reporting
• Demonstrates a passion for bookkeeping, client servicing and seeing accurate results
• Must have the highest attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as lead and collaborate with others
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills

Compensation for this role is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to your relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
