Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead core accounting activities for a growing organization operating across multiple West Coast markets. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening compliance, and delivering timely reporting that supports business decisions. Based in Denver, Colorado, the role also provides leadership to accounting staff while helping improve processes in a fast-moving, performance-focused environment.Responsibilities:• Direct regional accounting operations, ensuring financial results are recorded accurately and in alignment with generally accepted accounting standards and applicable regulations.• Guide the month-end close process by reviewing journal entries, monitoring general ledger activity, and confirming account reconciliations are completed on schedule.• Maintain a strong internal control environment by overseeing compliance procedures and supporting audit readiness across accounting processes.• Manage billing, collections, and payment workflows to promote timely cash activity and dependable transaction processing.• Review balance sheet accounts and perform financial analysis to identify variances, resolve issues, and recommend practical corrective actions.• Prepare clear financial reports and present meaningful insights to senior leadership to support planning and operational decisions.• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while setting performance expectations and encouraging continuous improvement.• Oversee tax filings and other statutory reporting requirements to help ensure full regulatory compliance.• Support budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning efforts, while leveraging accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar platforms to improve efficiency.
