Hernia Sales Specialist (Los Angeles)

Medtronic seeks a Hernia Sales Specialist for the Los Angeles territory to drive clinical excellence and market growth in hernia disease management. The role involves developing strategic account plans, building customer relationships, and leading robotic surgery integration initiatives. Remote position requiring residency in territory and frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical and procedural expertise to drive above-market growth in hernia portfolio
- Create and execute targeted strategies using Fragment, Expand, & Standardize model to increase market share
- Strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders and engage customers to improve procedural adoption
- Lead robotic surgery integration initiatives and position hernia solutions for robotic-assisted procedures
- Implement market development programs, therapy awareness initiatives, and training to accelerate procedural adoption
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6+ years field sales experience, or Associate's degree plus 4+ years, or Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years
- Proven track record in medical device or healthcare sales
- Strong clinical communication skills and understanding of clinical environments
- Experience building and managing customer relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers
- Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans for growth
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), forecasting, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel over 50%
