Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that are reflective of their personal goals and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, self-care practices, and mental health resources.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet the evolving needs of each individual.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care addressing all aspects of a client’s health.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate client records in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of $70,000 – $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
