Sales Engineer (m/w/d) Europe

The Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops and supplies innovative, life-saving products and software solutions worldwide for emergency services, hospitals, authorities, and the military. Products include AEDs, trauma kits, ventilators, temperature regulation solutions, and much more. This is a remote position with travel required approximately 50% within Europe, mainly in Western Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Fluent knowledge in German and very good English are required.
As a European Sales Engineer at ZOLL Medical, you are a technical expert with direct customer contact. You act as a bridge between the company's technologies and customers, helping them understand their value and ensuring a smooth sales process. You work closely with ZOLL Medical's direct sales team (hospitals and emergency services) and our distributor network to support the revenue growth of ZOLL Code Data throughout the sales process. While sales staff are responsible for all commercial aspects, you, as a sales engineer, handle all technical aspects.
Required experiences and soft skills:
- At least three years of experience with SaaS solutions (Software as a Service)
- In-depth knowledge of networks, including firewalls and certificates
- Experience with data-driven solutions and the integration of third-party or external systems
- Passion for understanding technical contexts and solving customer problems
- Experience in matrix organizations and working with CRM systems
- Strong communication skills: ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to different audiences from end-users to C-level decision-makers
- Advanced technical skills and problem-solving ability to analyze customer requirements, identify challenges, and develop appropriate solutions
- Presentation skills: ability to conduct persuasive and informative product demonstrations and presentations
- Experience in supporting a sales organization with a focus on complex enterprise software and hardware solutions
- Experience in selling software and/or medical capital goods
- Willingness to travel regularly within sales regions (approximately 50%), starting from the home office
