Staff Accountant

Century Group is in search of an experienced Staff Accountant to join a team in Denver, CO. Qualified candidates with 2+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. This is a hybrid role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $65,000 to $75,000 per year.


Job Description:

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  
  
• Month-end close management including accruals and financial statement analysis
  
  
• Prepare and analyze internal financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  
  
• A/R and A/P entries, schedules, and payments as needed
  
  
• Work alongside with third-party property managers and Accounts Receivable team
  
  
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
  
  
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  
  
• Proficient with Yardi, Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  
  
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  
  
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  
  
• Able to work independently and take initiative
  
  
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
