Operations Manager

The Day-to-Day Provide operational leadership for multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities. Ensure facilities consistently meet permit requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations. Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery. Monitor plant performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Conduct routine site visits to ensure operational consistency and compliance. Review operational reports and identify opportunities for process improvements. Assist with startup and transition of new operations and maintenance contracts Serve as the primary operational contact for municipal and industrial clients. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers. Attend client meetings and present operational updates, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives. Address client concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure contractual obligations and service level agreements are consistently achieved. Ensure compliance with all EPA, TCEQ, OSHA, state, and local regulations. Maintain compliance with water quality permits, wastewater discharge permits, and environmental reporting requirements. Coordinate regulatory inspections and corrective actions. Promote a culture of environmental stewardship and operational excellence. Promote H2O Innovation's Safety First culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Conduct safety observations and support safety training initiatives. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and implement corrective actions. Monitor safety performance and participate in company safety initiatives. The Skills We Are Looking For Texas Class A or B Water or Wastewater Operator License (or ability to obtain). Multi-site operations management experience. Experience managing municipal operations contracts. Experience with SCADA systems. Knowledge of CMMS software. Experience managing budgets and financial performance. Project management experience. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
