Business Development Manager (BDM) represents the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographical area. Responsible for creating product acceptance and enhancing portfolio growth through business development activities. The BDM provides technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation. Assigned sales goals are obtained through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. The expectation is being in the field 4 days/week (minimally visiting 4 customers per day).

Main Areas of Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager leverages resources to enhance adoption of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio which includes the acceleration and sales growth for BOTOX Cosmetic, JUVEDERM Collection of fillers, and Kybella brands. Synergistically works and coordinates activities with other Allergan Aesthetics cross portfolio partners and support teams. Complies with required reporting, requests, and compliance policies. Effectively manages field assets and resources to include product samples, marketing materials, equipment, and technical resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 3 to 5 years successful medical sales/practice management experience
• 7 to 10 years business experience
• Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment
• Experience and knowledge of inner workings of a physicians practice
• Valid driver's license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
