The scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the varying needs of our patients. Our virtual work environment is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, facilitating seamless operation across electronic health record (EHR) systems and video conferencing tools.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the unique needs and circumstances of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to meet developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster supportive home environments.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated care and support.

• Respond to mental health crises, providing timely intervention and support during emergencies involving young clients.

• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to remain abreast of current best practices.

• Stay informed on developments in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously enhance therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will focus primarily on a diverse population of children and adolescents, addressing a variety of mental health disorders that are increasingly prevalent in today’s youth. The therapist will work closely with families to identify challenges and collaborate on effective intervention strategies, ensuring every young individual receives the personalized care necessary for their growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Previous experience providing individual and family therapy to youth populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate and child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proven ability to build trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Competence in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, along with bonuses based on performance. In addition, new hires will receive a sign-on bonus as part of their compensation package.
