As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:45 PM - 11:00 PMSun02:45 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and response actions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
