As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate with site personnel and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a utility location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support awareness of security-related conditions at the location. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience working in a primarily driving post is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
