As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:45 PM - 06:45 AMSat10:45 PM - 06:45 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies; document visitor activity, patrol observations, and incidents using required reporting tools. Support a professional, orderly work environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
