Schedule: PRN day shifts + call coverage; ongoing 40 hrs/week coverage beginning late June

Openings: 1 (need 1-2 providers/week)

Travel/Lodging: Yes

Position Overview

• Ongoing anesthesiology coverage with weekly rotations between two sites in the Burlington/Mebane area
• EMR: Epic

Schedule & Call Details

• Day shifts include 7a-3p, 7a-5p, and 7a-7p
• Call: 1-2 times per week + occasional 24-hour weekend call
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• PRN day shift needs beginning April 30, 2026 (and ongoing)
• Call shifts noted for June 6, 12, 19 (and ongoing)
• Ongoing coverage noted beginning June 22 (40 hrs/week); providers rotate between sites throughout the week

Case Mix

• General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1,000 deliveries/year), urology - everything except hearts and complicated pediatrics
• Healthy peds dental/ENT (can be as young as 1 year old), ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), endoscopy
• Must be proficient with spinals, blocks, and epidurals

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)
• Active North Carolina license
• Active DEA + NC controlled substance registration (CSR)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA - no exceptions)
• Case logs required (within the past 2 years)

Bonus

• $3,000 completion bonus for providers who work 12 consecutive full weeks at an ongoing-need location
