Schedule: Day coverage with nightly call; weekends included per rotation; call response time 45 minutes to 1 hour

Position Overview

• Anesthesiologist coverage with a mix of supervision and own cases
• Coverage includes pre op, PACU support, and intra day breaks or float as needed
• Supervision model includes collaboration with CRNAs
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope

• Case mix includes bread and butter general, ortho, GYN, and GI
• No trauma and no OB
• Spinals, blocks, and epidurals proficiency required
• Case logs required

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina license
• North Carolina controlled substance registration and DEA
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
