Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments and rehabilitation goals.

• Stay abreast of state practice laws and guidelines, ensuring compliance in all aspects of physical therapy practice and supervision.

• Perform thorough evaluations that include reviewing medical histories, executing specific assessment protocols, and documenting care recommendations clearly.

• Implement effective treatment protocols by interpreting evaluation findings and modifying approaches as necessary to adapt to each patient's changing needs.

• Engage with other healthcare professionals when required, documenting and recognizing significant changes in patients' conditions that necessitate alterations to the plan of care.

• Oversee discharge planning processes and provide follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and interventions.

• Participate actively in continuing education and corporate training programs while maintaining compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.

• Provide daily treatment with an emphasis on quality care and departmental productivity, ensuring all patients receive the best possible therapy experience.

• Continuously assess patient progress and document necessary adjustments to treatment plans, maintaining clear lines of communication with patients throughout their rehabilitation.

• Contribute to team meetings and in-service training sessions to foster an environment of learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgery and injuries, including those with joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our multidisciplinary approach fosters a holistic treatment environment where patients feel empowered to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a valid physical therapy state license to practice.

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, ideally with focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Current CPR certification is mandatory to ensure patient safety.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
