In addition, the Director will be responsible for ensuring operations personnel are trained, changes are communicated, and best practices are incorpora Job Responsibilities ties:Work very closely with Warehouse Managers and Program/Operations personnel at each location to ensure best practices are fully implemented and mainta ined.Develop, implement, and monitor operating standards that are applicable across all divisions, companies, and facili ties.Support optimization activities for Vendor Managed Inventory programs and Distribution/Service Center order fulfill ment.Support significant corporate operations projects such as capital equipment selection, program implementations, and expansion or reduction of operating facili ties.Work closely with Group management teams to ensure effective inventory utilizes cts.Deploy applications and reports to support business proce sses.Monitor and control Key Performance Indicators ( KPI.)Support operational financial anal ysis.Other duties as req Required Education/Credentials ials:Minimum of five years of operations management exper ienceMinimum of five years of experience with multi-site distribution opera tionsKnowledge and experience with continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, or Toyota Production Manag ementFamiliar with VMI, Kanban, or other inventory systems requiring a triggered replenishment from a warehouse infrastru ctureExperience working within an ISO, TS, or equivalent Quality Management S ystemExperience with fasteners and fastener quality standards strongly prefe rred.Ability to travel Location Remote or on-site, with travel.
