Specifications Analyst page is loaded## Specifications Analystremote type: On Sitelocations: Chesterfield, Missouritime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R7217**Job Description:****Responsibilities:*** Partner cross-functionally with internal teams including Pricing, Engineering, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, and Plant Controllers to support standard costing processes and uphold pricing integrity.* Process manufacturing facility requests to create new supply and inventory items and to maintain and update existing item attributes within master data systems to ensure data integrity.* Conduct regular audits of item master data to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring consistency and accuracy across comparable items.* Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency across specifications planning, accounting, and supporting operational processes.* Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with special projects throughout the annual budget process, year-end close, and financial rollover periods.* Oversee updates and maintenance of the Commercial Specifications Plan by coordinating inputs across departments and ensuring alignment with business objectives.* Provide analytical support to drive profitable decision-making by gathering and interpreting data related to customer specifications patterns, product rationalization opportunities, and pricing optimization strategies.* Validate revenue and standard costs to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting requirements.**Education:** Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related business field; or equivalent combination of education and 5–7 years of relevant business experience.**Experience:** Required: 1–3 years of experience in a supply chain or finance-related role.
