Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function across diverse client populations.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper execution and adherence to the prescribed plan of care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests assessing muscle, nerve, joint, and overall physical capabilities.
• Assessing the home environment for rehabilitation potential and making actionable recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Administering therapy services as specified by physicians, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and other physical agent treatments.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices while counseling clients on device use and care.
• Participating in care plan development, contributing insights for regular updates based on client progress and responses to therapy.
• Maintaining diligent records through OASIS and clinical documentation to reflect therapy processes, client evaluations, and outcomes.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in case conferences to ensure cohesive treatment strategies for each client.
• Providing training and support to clients and their families regarding their therapy regimens and home exercise programs.

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or dealing with mobility impairments. Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role must possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification, demonstrating readiness to respond in emergencies.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel to client locations, if required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
