Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Revitalize Wellness, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic diagnoses, interpreting findings to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implementing treatment plans involving advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Regularly reassessing patient progress and modifying treatment approaches based on patient response and clinical judgement.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and effective strategies for home exercises and self-management.
• Documenting evaluations, treatment interventions, patient progress, and discharge plans accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, discussing any significant changes in patient conditions.
• Acting as a mentor to assistant staff and students by providing guidance, supervision, and educational resources to enhance their clinical skills.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives, promoting health awareness, and representing the clinic at local events to foster community relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions, such as joint replacements, fractures, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and utilization of electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required, candidates with specialized training or certifications in orthopedic manual therapy and sports rehabilitation will be given preference.
