Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Massage & Exercise Therapy. This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Bradenton, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing standardized assessments to create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery and functionality.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families regarding therapies and home exercise programs to support healing.
• Document patient treatment plans and progress in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices, ensuring clear communication among healthcare teams.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily focus on treating patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will extend to patients of all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations, providing a diverse and enriching practice environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE approved).
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Proficient computer skills, including documentation and telehealth technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and contribute to community outreach.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are welcome, candidates with clinical experience in orthopedic settings or specialized training in rehabilitation therapies will be prioritized. Familiarity with healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) is also beneficial to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
