Licensed Therapist

Licensed Therapist – Full‑time or part‑time – Virginia Beach, VA Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing clinical procedures and guidelines. Actively participate in staff meetings and case presentations. Assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes. Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate. Provide patient‑centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement. Utilize the electronic medical record to document screenings, assessments, progress, and referrals, completing documentation within required timelines. Advocate for patients’ access to community resources. Collaboratively develop treatment plans with input from patients, families, the treatment team, and other agencies. Coordinate and communicate with the treatment team to provide the best care. Use multiple interventions (group, individual, family therapy) to help patients meet goals. Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in assessment and treatment. Demonstrate respect for patients’ inherent dignity and worth. Monitor patient progress toward goals and address termination/discharge issues, providing referrals as appropriate. Work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing workload based on demands and administrative reprioritization. Requirements Active, independent Virginia license: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience providing outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults. Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year (based on license type, experience, and productivity). Full‑time benefits: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance.
