Were looking for a skilled and hands-on Machine A Operator to help run our filling, packaging, and mixing operations. In this role, youll assist with adjustments, set-ups and routine changeoverswhile working alongside a talented team that values safety, quality, and innovation./ppWhat Youll Do/pulliPerforms manually and/or tends machines which perform various packaging functions such as, filling, labeling, packing, or closing containers./liliAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues./liliResponsible for machine adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, maintenance, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines./liliAbility to identify problems, troubleshoot, and train on the cardboard baler, plastic baler, carton erector, pallet jack, pick and place card/blister adjustments, taper/tape gun, and additional production equipment./liliValidates and organizes jobs in accordance with bill of materials and special work instructions based on current and future job orders./liliResponsible for conducting quality inspection of goods at the correct intervals, ensuring that product is packaged according to the work order with the expectation to identify and correct any quality issues./liliAssists in training assigned full time/temp operators and assists other teams as needed./liliForklift experience required./liliPromotes and follows all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality guidelines and procedures./liliAbility to communicate effectively and lead others./li/ululliCoordinates and performs routine preventative maintenance of equipment./liliResponsible for accurate and timely reporting of production, labor and scrap incurred during the shift/liliMust have the ability to temporarily run manufacturing lines in the absence of a team lead and assist with MH, B, and C operator roles when needed./li/ulpWhat You Bring/pulliHigh School Diploma/GED required./lili3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment in a lead role; preferably automotive or bottling and packaging./liliMust be able to speak, understand, read, and write English./liliMust have ability to perform simple math calculations./liliMust be computer literate./liliMust be certified to drive all types of forklift./li/ulpWhy Permatex?
