Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for overseeing HR operations and supporting employees and leaders across the location. Qualifications
- Strong expertise in core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.
- Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR compliance best practices, particularly in New York.
- Ability to develop and execute HR strategies that support workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and data analysis to support decision-making and HR metrics tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated capability in training, coaching, and supporting leaders and employees on HR processes and workplace practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience as an HR generalist or HR manager in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment; exposure to agribusiness or energy sectors is a plus.
