Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic special education setting near Dearborn, MI. This full-time role, scheduled from 7:55am to 3:06pm, runs ASAP through June 17th and provides the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students in grades 1-12 with Autism.

In this position, you’ll support approximately 37 students, working within a collaborative environment focused on individualized growth and communication development. Apply your expertise across assessment, treatment, and support for diverse speech and language needs, and grow your skills alongside professionals who share your passion for pediatric care.

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations, particularly students with Autism
• Background in special education and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Outstanding communication and documentation skills
• Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and adaptive educational environment

Your key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments, develop and implement IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings
