About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal role as the strategic finance partner to ownership. This senior leadership position is focused on driving capital allocation, growth analysis, and complex financial strategies across multiple entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on the optimal allocation of cash, credit, debt, and equity, as well as evaluating acquisitions, refinancing, and other financial decisions. A key aspect of the role is the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information and to work closely with Controllers, accounting teams, and outside advisors. The ideal candidate will have a background in high-volume operational businesses, with experience in grocery, supermarket, retail, wholesale, or food distribution, and a strong understanding of real estate financials. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance role at the company should have a proven track record in a senior finance leadership position within a multi-entity environment. The role requires expertise in guiding strategic finance decisions, capital allocation, and growth analysis, as well as strong Excel and financial modeling skills. A CPA, MBA, or experience in public accounting, banking, or lending, paired with hands-on private company expertise, is preferred. The candidate should be adept at building dynamic financial models, cash flow forecasts, and dashboards, and have the ability to represent the company in discussions with various financial stakeholders.
