Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in King Of Prussia, PA. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment, and the ability to analyze financial data while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules
• Record and reconcile payroll-related accounting entries and accruals
• Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and related accounting activities
• Assist with lease accounting and compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support audit requests and provide required documentation and explanations
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reporting packages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, and Pivot Tables
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
