Job Description

Oppenheimer's Operations team is seeking a candidate that will support the daily functioning of both senior executive and senior management. The role requires someone who will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team. The individual will provide basic administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination
• Assist in wire processing
• Processing Escheating entries to States yearly
• Prepare weekly & daily reporting
• Attending meetings with Senior Management
• Assist in on boarding new employees
• Leverage organizational skills to assist management
• Assist in fact finding exercises to automate operations
• Other functions and tasks assigned

Skills/Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency; some college preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• High level of professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

For job postings in New York State, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The current base salary offered for this role is $65,000.00 per year. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
