Position Overview

We are welcoming a proficient and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic assessments, work alongside a collaborative group of healthcare providers, and help reassure patients with timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities in This Role

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, communicating clearly and compassionately about each step
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic results
• Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of new developments in ultrasound technology and procedures

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
