CNC Programmer

Direct Hire | Onsite | New Kensington, PA Area

Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in the New Kensington, PA area.

This role is ideal for someone with strong CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a similar regulated industry. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to support precision machining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations
• Read and edit G-code as needed to support production requirements
• Use CNC programming software to create efficient machining programs
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production
• Support setup and troubleshooting of CNC machining processes
• Work closely with machinists, quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve programming or machining issues
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tool paths, and overall machining efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation related to programs, revisions, and process changes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC experience in a controlled manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar industry
• Experience with CNC programming software required
• Mastercam and Hypermill experience preferred
• Ability to read and edit G-code
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work onsite in the New Kensington, PA area
