Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification recognized in Arizona
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
• Proven classroom experience working with students who have varied learning needs

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction within a resource room environment for assigned grade levels (K-4, 5-6, or 6-8)
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Coordinate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student inclusion and success
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Foster a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment
• Communicate consistently with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student performance
