Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a Standard AZ Secondary Teaching License (required)
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
• Valid Special Education licensure (required)
• Demonstrated experience teaching English—specifically reading, writing, and comprehension
• Ability to co-teach in a high school environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those receiving special education services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach designated English classes, offering instruction and support in line with student needs
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Differentiate instruction for a variety of learning abilities within the classroom
• Collaborate closely with general and special education staff to promote student inclusion and achievement
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and communicate regularly with families and support staff
