Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will:

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe and engaging atmosphere where clients can share their experiences and learn from each other.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, providing personalized support to help clients explore their emotions, behaviors, and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences, implementing strategies to achieve documented outcomes.

• Regularly evaluate client progress using various assessment tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in partnership with clients to ensure ongoing efficacy.

• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, participating in case consultations to coordinate care for complex cases, enhancing treatment outcomes for clients.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
