Unified Care NW is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. With a salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality mental health services to diverse populations within Washington State.

Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work environment, operating remotely while engaging with clients primarily through telehealth. Additionally, sessions may occur in our outpatient clinic or through community outreach programs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake interviews and detailed psychosocial assessments to gather critical information from clients, families, and other relevant parties, ensuring accurate and thorough data collection.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date client documentation in compliance with WAC regulations, adhering to best practices in record-keeping and confidentiality.

• Develop and implement individualized crisis intervention and treatment plans, engaging clients in the goal-setting process to build upon their strengths and foster resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, ARNPs, and substance abuse professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and provide holistic treatment solutions.

• Provide effective referrals to community resources and services when client needs extend beyond the scope of the practice, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on treating individuals, families, and couples facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, substance use disorders, and behavioral issues. The counselor will work with diverse age groups, with a significant emphasis on adolescents who are navigating addiction and family dynamics involving substance use. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be invaluable in fostering healthier relationships and coping strategies for these clients.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a valid full license from the Washington State Department of Health as a mental health counselor.

• Have a Bachelor's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy, with a completed Master’s degree preferred.

• Demonstrate at least three (3) years of experience in the field of mental health counseling, particularly in integrated healthcare settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialized training in treating adolescents with substance use disorders and their families.
\n
• Experience in family therapy, particularly with families impacted by substance use issues.
\n
• Proficiency in treating trauma and utilizing trauma-informed care practices in therapeutic interventions.
\n
• A minimum of one (1) year of direct service provision in substance use disorder treatment within the last five (5) years, or completion of a KP Addiction Medicine department internship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
