About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Finance with a strong background in debt capital markets execution and compliance, particularly in the areas of diligence, documentation coordination, closing, covenant compliance, and lender reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the entire lender process, from post-term sheet to closing, and must be capable of supporting term sheet negotiation with in-depth financial analysis. This role demands a leader who can operate with a high level of quality and independence, allowing the sponsor to step back from day-to-day involvement. The VP of Finance will also be tasked with managing the debt stack across facilities, executing debt workstreams for recapitalization, and overseeing FP&A activities. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 4 years' of experience, with a preference for those with a background in the real estate industry and exposure to private equity. A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business is required, along with expert modeling skills. The role involves a significant amount of financial analysis, including pricing comparisons, covenant sensitivity modeling, and structural mechanics review. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple responsibilities, from preparing Board of Director materials to responding to ad hoc sponsor and investor requests. The ability to work in a hybrid environment and a strong focus on institutional-quality output with a fast turnaround are essential.
