BD Sales Representative Location: Tallmadge, OH Department: Sales Schedule: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Help Turn New Customers Into Long-Term Customers At SDMyers , we help electric power system owners get more reliability and life out of their critical electrical infrastructure. We're looking for a Sales Coordinator who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, communicating with customers, and making sure the details behind a new customer relationship don't fall through the cracks. What You'll Do You'll play an important role in helping new customers get started with SDMyers and supporting the sales team throughout the onboarding process. New Customer Onboarding Assist ERAMs with creating new customer accounts and getting new customers onboarded. Determine and prioritize onboarding activities based on customer size and potential. Coordinate with customers, ERAMs, and internal departments to finalize: Agreements Quotes Bids Proposals Legal contracts Determine how customers obtain purchase orders (POs) and document important contacts and procedures for future orders. Make sure new-account information is accurately entered and maintained in our systems. Customer Communication & Relationship Building Serve as a helpful point of contact for customers during their first year with SDMyers. Follow up on mail-in oil testing orders and retests and help coordinate scheduling. Assist with customer retention activities during the first year of a new account. Schedule initial customer meetings and help introduce customers to SDMyers services and the team members supporting their account. Respond to customer questions and provide backup support for Customer Service emails, live chats, and incoming calls. Listen to customers, ask thoughtful questions, and help identify what they need. Sales Team Support Work closely with ERAMs to support new business sales activities. Assist with strategic account planning and the transition of new accounts to the DAC team. Help ensure a smooth handoff from new customer onboarding to ongoing account management. Transition new accounts to the DAC team for renewal and ongoing relationship management. Update customer information and activity in Salesforce CRM and Navision following customer interactions. Coordinate multiple activities and follow through to ensure deadlines and commitments are met. Take on other duties and projects as requested. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers. Education & Experience High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in a customer service, sales support, administrative, or coordination role is a plus. Database experience preferred. Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus. Technology Skills You should be comfortable working with: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint General Windows applications Customer databases and CRM systems Salesforce CRM preferred You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
