Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Observation Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients needing evaluation and treatment over 8 to 48 hours.
• Administer IV antibiotics, fluids, insulin drips, and manage blood pressure with Nitro.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care techs and paramedics.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
• Prepare to float to different units as needed to meet staffing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all facility requirements including nicotine-free policies.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license; pending license accepted upon verification.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• Proficient with drips and EPIC charting experience.
• Open to floating within scope across various units within the facility.
• Non-local candidates only; must reside over 100 miles from the facility.
