Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with regulatory standards, demonstrating compliance and accountability.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to deliver effective and informed treatment interventions.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to craft and implement positive behavior support plans.

• Engage actively in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold high standards of practice.

• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, such as state agencies and community partners, to coordinate care and resources for clients.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMHC at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with emotional disturbances, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. Your role will be critical in guiding these individuals toward recovery, independence, and improved quality of life through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state board is essential.
