What we're looking for:

Kennedy Catholic HS

Position: Fry Cook/Asst. Cook

Work Hours: 7:00am-2:00pm (M-F)

-Work hours are on school schedules, subject to multiple days off & breaks.

Compensation: $21-$23/hr plus benefits after eligibility is met.

Job Qualifications & Abilities:

- Creating a positive customer experience while maintaining a safe, clean and organized working environment.

- Duties of this position include but are not limited to preparing food and beverage products consistently as instructed.

- Capable to work independently and ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.

- Communicate effectively, both orally and written.

- Read, write, comprehend and produce finished products from a recipe- provide verbal and written feedback

- Full knowledge to operate all kitchen machinery and equipment.

- May be required to pass written and on the job test if desired by management; at any time- now or future.

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and position experience is preferred, but not required.

- Valid photo ID.

- Able to always obtain a professional appearance and demeanor.

- Excellent Customer Service Skills required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily temperature logs completed for lunch & dinner prior to end of shift.
• Daily production sheets filled out for lunch & dinner prior to end of shift.
• Fill & Set steam table for service.
• Prep items for your station.
• Ability to use a fryer, including cleaning.
• Be on your line by 11:10am to 1:15pm to serve lunch.
• Have line set by 11:00am for 1st lunch & 12:15pm for 2nd lunch.
• Assist in any caterings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Job requires bending, stooping, reaching as well as lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing and descending multiple flights of stairs while carrying heavy items
• High and cold temperatures, moisture and humidity.
